Hey guys, been watching this game for a while, and I do see the dev posts above, but I admit it's easy to think the development is dead from all other sources of info.

I am so happy to see that so many mods are being made still, and wanted to ask if anyone would like to suggest some essential mods? (maybe functional non-faction types, or maybe the best made factions that you'd put forward?)

I'd really appreciate your thoughts, and this can serve for anyone else who might stumble over here, or to be shared. Thanks a ton!

I've meant to test every mod that makes new factions, but it takes a lot of time and most are overpowerdly unbalanced.

All I've played so far is the voltz mod thoroughly. it's got fair OPness, but friendly fire on helps balance it, and the beginning is a nightmare to start.

I've been thoroughly enjoying Splinter's Graphics Overhaul. That thing makes the game look even better.

I usually point people out to the Salt mod. It's essentially an expanded, playable version of the Borg faction and one of the first factions that I can recall introducing a different playstyle from the stock factions.

I 2nd "Splinter's Graphics Overhaul"...I don't play the game without it anymore.

As for myself, I've been back to shamelessly promoting my own Reassembly Mod Series now that my third one is finally on the way. Also, the first two are being rebalanced for the release of the third because for some reason I had no problem letting the Episode 2 Faction be extremely OP when I first created them xD
