That would be amazing. Also amazing would be a gun/shield/module testing mode.

Or at least automatically reorder the blocks in the ship files. That way we don't have to rebuild our ships from scratch if we organize our block list.

I find it easy enough to make ships, just have a local mod, load the palette up in sandbox, and then ssave any ships you want to keep.

Speaking of that, how do you make a ssave of ship from a modded faction?
The game always tell me "Can't ssave [something something] relocated"
Even through my mod aren't!

This is planned.

These aren't.

A ship builder would require knowing a whole lot more about how the game works internally, and a module testing thing is about 50% of the way to just straight up re-making the game... both are well beyond the scope of this sort of tool in terms of complexity.

Dunno, works fine for me, but I tend to make my ships and stuff in a normal save and extract the designs from the save file. I have made a load of things in the sandbox though, mostly asteroid buildings for my unpublished 'roiders.

^^'

The explosive setting of the cannon don't take into account what I want (want to set to final, but always revert back to enable)

Yup, realised that last night. Turns out the dropdowns didn't send forward the value on their change event. I have it fixed, but an update won't be ready for a bit longer - factions are in and I'm half way through adding region editing. After that is the ship reordering stuff and then it'll be ready.

If you edit that part manually, it should stick when it's loaded, even if the dropdown itself still says enable.

Could you please add a dropdown for the bindingId variable?
