Hey guys,

Just writing a quick post here to let you know that "Heirs to the Void Episode 2: The Shadows Have Eyes...", the 2nd entry in my Reassembly pseudo-narrative mod collection, has finally been added to the Steam Workshop @

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... =526088805

If you decide to check it out I hope you enjoy it and if it doesn't seem like your cup of tea then maybe I can win you over when the 3rd episode comes out :)

Happy Reassembling!

Lore (not included on Steam Page due to character constraints):

This episode focuses on the Xel'At Qarr, the most powerful clan in the Xel'At Imperium.

In ancient times the Xel'At were one of the 13 member-tribes of the Aegis and were lauded for their commitment to justice, honor, and friendship. However, following a heinous betrayal during the time of Exodus and a millennia under the tyrannical rule of a sociopathic madman, the Xel'At have been transformed beyond recognition. In these times, the Xel'At favor machiavellian politics and espouse the maxim, "Might makes right." At the top, the ruling Aristocracy is dominated by the lavish Qarr clan who live in luxurious excess, while the Low-Clans that make up just over 90% of the Imperial populace are hardly better off than the slaves made to work the diamond mines of T'ahrkas. Finally, there are the Xel'At Mantriks whose religious order is kept well-hidden in the shadows of the remote areas of the Imperium. Often mistakenly referred to as sorcerors, the Mantrik Priests study an eldritch science that grants them the ability to affect changes in the world around them and have developed a technology to amplify this power, allowing them to Teleport their ships short distances and control their signature weapon, the diamond blade, from the comfort of their ship's Integration Chamber (command module).

Incoming screenshots :D

Is that big ship to the left of the bottom image to size or upscaled?

Consider the following: adapters only scale in length, not width.

It could be multiple blocks combined to look like an adapter. At the moment I can't see the borderlines clearly enough; for example I know there should be borderlines on the smalltext but it isn't showing up.

Edit: Also the blocks could be editted, for example the gigantic turret barrels at the center of the 2nd picture look modified.

Exactly, you don't make a big trollship cube and see each individual line, do you?

My bet is going to be a single custom upscaled adapter piece, since a lot of other blocks seem modified. Also using the bottom left asteroids for scale.

Can't modify block shapes without editing the executable, and outlines are always the same thickness, so the image is resized.

I meant not modifying the shape but upping the scale modifier

Adapters scale lengthways and not width, though, but regardless the lines give it away. That and that the asteroid pieces are like, size 9 and nothing goes above 10.

Oh I see; then that goes back full circle to what Amazigh said
