Post subject:  Force-Unlock a Mod Faction?

I wanted to play around with making a mod faction. Is there a way to set it to automatically be unlocked?

Go to your unlock.lua and add in the id # of the faction you want unlocked.

Would it be possible to add unlock.lua to the mod folder with that faction unlocked for others who download it?

Also, where is unlock.lua and if I don't have it, what do I need to put in it if I create it?

If you made a new faction, the id# is probably 20. Via unlock.lua:

The other way to do it is to change the factions.lua in your mod.
Set playable=2 instead of playable 1.

Ah, excellent! That's what I was looking for - thanks. I actually did manage to find my unlocks.lua, though only by having Windows search for it.

The note about setting the playable=2 in factions is awesome though, thanks!!
