Two 7030P laser battleships of faction 50 can also beat 24000P faction 4 fleets.

Your comparing a mod that includes melee spikes with f4 guns, of course they will win. This factions isn't really ment to be balanced.

The auther of this mod says it has balanced weapon system in steam workshop, so I think he may want to make it be balanced. The 7030P ship has no gun boosters and did not ram enemy ships more than twice per battle, and the 6616P ship can do it without melee spikes, just laser and armor against f4 guns.

I think this means that faction 50 armor and laser are surely stronger than original factions.

I dunno man, maybe he's just a great ship designer yeah!

Edit: I am curious though to see the minimum P required to beat 3 Imperial 8ks with a vanilla faction. I think a 1k slicer could do the trick with no more than 3 times ramming per battle ha

I think that just means this mod faction is strong and the auther may want to rebalance some blocks.

995P hybrid teleporting gunship made by only vanilla faction blocks can do it, without any melee weapon.

Oh he says it's meant to be balanced? My bad. There's no doubt about it though, this mod is op as hell.
