When I realized I could Freeze time in the sandbox and still move and snap parts toghter, I was able to stack any part anywhere. I actually use odd shapes to space things out (as 2 connection points overlapping is disastrous) and basically every connection point is being used now.

I've heard alot about stacking parts, but don't they limit regeneration? To me that's kind of a very big con, as the Terran's can regenerate under fire, I believe.

I don't see how not limiting regeneration is a con but the terran regen-under-fire thing is a myth.

I actually meant they break regeneration somewhat, sorry for being unclear.

Every single faction can't regenerate block if they take damage.
(The amount of damage that put the regen of CD seem to depend of the max HP of the ship)
