I had even thought a few new ideas to improve upon or add a brand new feature that would improve upon rooted buildings mechanic

ON-TERRAIN BASED MODE

1. Develop a Root Building construction mode
This mode would be the 4th mode of the UI (only in-game, inactive in Sandbox), that'll allow players to draft a rooted building from the lists of their designs and place that "shadow" copy which in term is just a planned outline of the building which has not been constructed yet, into an asteroid's terrain

2. Develop a Constructor module for building Rooted stuffs
This is a beam/halo based module that will be building the rooted building, automatically target any "shadow" rooted building you placed when in range and fire the beam into the surface of the asteroid, of course it'll subtracts R over time depend on how much P the rooted building have

ON-STATION BASED MODE (AND ON-SHIP TOO)

3. Make a new feature called ROOTHOLDER or ROOTGROWER for building blocks, these kind of block would in term trying to grow or hold a root building on a station or a ship (ROOTGROWER will grow the rooted building without a constructor module, clearly by itself), then they'll hold the root building like an ENVIRONMENTAL block, however these kind of blocks doesn't allow any plants to grow on it.

4. And also makes an on-board root building manager mode for ship and stations, for the ROOTHOLDER / ROOTGROWER module, so you can choose and arranges root building of choice to any section of the ship

5. Make a rootplanner schematics save system, to save any schematic of root buildings assigned for stations and ships, it'll be treated as a cluster of ships being saved as schematic for root building manager configurations

6. When an on-board root building's core got destroyed, all the remaining parts of the rooted designs will decompose if "planted" on ROOTHOLDER and ROOTGROWER to make spaces for replacements

GLOBAL PLUS FEATURE

7. Develop a feature that allow to repairs and reconnect stray rooted building that ended up afloat in space after a brutal battle, rooted to an asteroid again on a new location or onto a ship.

I freaking love this idea. My ships tend to have weapons with shitloads of collateral damage, and this would help enormously.

Also, we need the ability to repair or construct asteroids.
