An Adanvced Fleet Control (DEVS TAKE A LOOK AT THIS)

Recently, I've been playing a lot of faction 3. It's pretty difficult, but I'm now at the point where I'm steam rolling agents with my single dreadnought and nothing is becoming a challenge. It took them to the tournament scene, and I am sorely dissapointed with the decisions they make while fighting. Randomly chosing targets, no ability to pick a target over another. Simple AI targeting and behaivor. I've been rolling this around in my head, and I've imagined up some ideas for an advanced fleet control binging/scripting.

Have a seperate window come up while in the fleet menu. You could pick generalized behavior for the ships, sorta like how the different factions act. You could set them to act aggressive, defensive, neutral, or cowardly in tournament settings. This way, the runner catagory could be expanded upon, strike ships could be a thing, flailing damage very quickly, or perhaps a defensive fleet that works best at sitting still in a group and dealing with the enemy as a team.

You could even go farther with this. Here are a few examples I wish would be implemented:
- Target ships biggest to smallest
- Target ships smallest to biggest
- Stay in a huddle, group
- Break into x amount of groups
- Guard the big ship
- Expand and disperse quickly
- Aim for weapons, then core
- Aim for thrusters, then core
- Specific ships do specific things (Ships under a certain P act this way, ships bigger act this way.)

There are so many more ideas. I feel like this would really spice up agent engagments ingame and really add to strategy and the coolness of the tournament scene. It could really help out the underdog factions with strategic advantage. So many times I've sat frowning at my screen as my faction 3 damage soakers all spread out and get picked apart. If only the dumb things would stick together....

Okay, I'm done venting. What do you guys think?

Yes, a lot of people want this too. The dev is working on it, but you have to realize that a one man crew takes a long time to do something.

I've really wanted to see a list of things that are being looked at. Where did you find this? Or is it right under my nose and I've been missing it the whole time?
