Right, I've had a look at the mod, and overall i'll say really good job, they feel basically exactly as I described them, having such fast part regeneration is a really interesting gameplay change, makes me think that they might not actually need shields afterall.

Just a few things i think could do with tweaking:
Pink weapons - still looks pretty weird to me, if it wasn't such a different color to the rest of the ship then it'd likely work, maybe something like 13DB74 would work better, to blend in with the greenish fade that the cyan hull has at times while still standing out somewhat.
Flak Blister - Higher? "Burstyness" variable so that they fire bursts less often, something like 0.9 maybe? (this weapon feels both too powerful, and more like a machinegun than a burst fire gun.)
Barrage Drones - increase "LaunchLifetime" to 20, Increase the drones thrust to 10k, Increase "LauncherPower" to 120. (these changes would make the drones able to move more effectively, and make it so they are actually launched from the launcher.)
Smallest thruster - increase "ThrusterForce" to 20k so that they are not completely worthless.

I also had an Idea for their missiles:
The missiles have the same thrust/mass/turnrate as Terran missiles.
With 60 damage, 20 blast radius, 15 missile health.
But, missiles take 3 seconds to regenerate.
(assuming this leads to a low P cost) This would make them fire a whole mess of missiles at a time, and then have a reasonable wait between each salvo, unlike other "swarm missile" launchers which just spit a constant stream of them out.

Uploaded a .rar of all my ships, converted to use the modded blocks, (most are just the ones you'd built/copied, but I tweaked a few here and there, as I wasn't completely satisifed with how i'd made them) with them renamed as follows:
Laser to Sword, Missile to Hook, Support to Lance, Cannon to Hammer.
Changed ships: Lance Corvette completely redone, Hammer Corvette modified, minor tweaks to Lance Frigate+Sword Destroyer+Hook Destroyer+Hook Cruiser
New ships: Lance+Hammer Cruisers, Hook Platform, Sanctuary (large station)

Other things:
Laser Cannon rotation speed increased by 50%
Missile at 80 DMG
Reduction of the DMG of the Barrage Cannon, but increase of it's velocity (1000 => 1400)

80 DMG might be a little too high, but The missiles are pretty cool right now.

I think the green looks better, the ships flow better, having three wildly different colours looks kinda odd imo.

Overall Thoughts on the Battleship:
Buildstyle - no major problems there, a decent job at imitating my style. (Could maybe carry over some aspects of the other ships aesthetics as it shares their weapons?)
Weapons - missiles could do with being on the external mounts, and maybe change the location of barrage cannons. PD, is a bit haphazardly placed, might look better if grouped in the "wings" and at the front rather than spread through the ship evenly?
If I get the time I might tweak it later today and post a modified version, but overall it's a pretty good scaled up imitation of my other ships, there are just some (relatively) minor things i'd change.

Further balance ideas:
Maybe reduce the power of the guns that the drones have to: 25 damage, 15 radius, they're already shorter range, so it makes sense for them to be less powerful?

Realised that i'd completely forgotten how burst-fire weapons work yesterday, and to have the flak blister work as I meant:
Lower the fire-rate to 15, increase RoundsPerBurst to 9, leave other stats as they are.

Integration of the new ship => done


I have an idea => Dagger fighter
Basically, it's a light drone with a multi piece hull and a single laser cannon (work like my HighGaran mod)

What do you think? (could add a "carrier" like ship?)

You might be able to lock the block by setting it to a different group. I haven't had a chance to test this yet, but it should work.

Yes, I can, but that mean that the colour will be locked to the basic faction colours for the fighter...
(I've just tested it)

Is there some way to make it so that the fighter cores grow symmetrically on both sides of the launcher? It kind of bothers me that one is farther forward than the other.

The two solutions could be:
either use the solo missile launcher
either use gem 2-3 launcher
