I could not find the logs for the crashes.
Doing some googling I've downloaded VCRUNTIME140.dll from microsoft's visual c++ but the issue was not fixed.
There is no trigger other than playing the game normally with and without mods.
I did find the issue on steam that seems to match mine but there was no answer for it.
I was hoping there is something I can do myself because I enjoy the game.
